Poison Garden Tours

Date: 1st January to 31st December
Time: 10 AM – 5 PM
Take a guided walk through one of the world’s most mysterious and infamous gardens, home to over 100 toxic and deadly plants. A fascinating and slightly edgy experience for curious minds.
The Forgotten Garden – Adventure Golf

Date: 3rd March to 31st December
Time: 10 AM – 4 PM
Tee off on a round of Adventure Golf, full of quirky surprises and woodland creatures. Open daily, no entry ticket for the main garden is needed, simply visit the Golf Kiosk or gift shop to play.
Summer Scavenger Hunt

Date: 1st May to 31st August
Time: 10 AM – 5 PM
Unleash your inner explorer alongside Reg the hedgehog with the Summer Scavenger Hunt at The Alnwick Garden. Simply pick up a clue sheet on arrival and set off across the garden to find all the hidden treasures on Reg's list. It’s a fun-packed family activity that’s free with garden entry and perfect for curious minds of all ages
Meet Peppa Pig and Mummy Pig

Date: 24th, 25th and 26th May
If you're visiting with little ones, don't miss a very special guest! Peppa Pig will be popping by during May half term. Join Peppa Pig and Mummy Pig at The Alnwick Garden this bank holiday weekend as they drop by in search of muddy puddles and fun-filled adventures!
Peppa Pig and Mummy Pig will be making special appearances at intervals throughout the day so keep your cameras ready.
Tractor Day
Date: 29th May
Celebrate all things big, bold and farm-inspired on Tractor Day, with hands-on activities, machines on display, and plenty of rural fun for the whole family.
Festival of the Fairies at Lilidorei

Date: 4th June to 13th July
Time: 10 AM – 4 PM
Lilidorei becomes a magical playground during the Festival of the Fairies. Enjoy fairy hunts, musical ribbon dancing, sparkly crafts, and whimsical games led by fellow fairy friends, all set around the world’s largest play structure. Fun for children and the young at heart!
Free Garden Tours

Date: 9th June to 8th September
Time: 11:15 AM – 3:15 PM
Free with garden entry, enjoy complimentary 20-minute guided tours every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Learn about the Rose Garden, Roots & Shoots Allotments, and more from knowledgeable garden guides.
Summer of Play

Date: 19th July to 31st August
Time: 10 AM – 6 PM
This summer, The Alnwick Garden invites you to dive into a joyful season of play with the launch of Summer of Play featuring 20 unique, handcrafted wooden ball games designed for families to play, interact, and enjoy together.
And if you fancy getting a little wet, you’re in luck. Twice a day, the garden transforms into a water pistol battle royale. Bring your own blaster or borrow one from the team, then take aim, get soaked, and let the chaos unfold! Perfect for all ages and for unleashing your inner child.
Summer BBQ Party at The Pavilion

Date: 25th July
Time: 6:30 PM – Midnight
Price: £35 per person
Celebrate summer with a relaxed evening of great food and music, and exclusive access to The Alnwick Garden. Enjoy a classic BBQ feast (veggie options available), a live DJ spinning nostalgic hits, and a lively garden atmosphere. Tickets are including food and free parking.
Lilidorei - After Hours Night July and August

Date: 19th July and 17th August
Time: 6 PM – 9 PM
Price: £10 per person
Experience Lilidorei like never before, after hours and no kids allowed, only adults! Let loose and dance the night away to nostalgic music from the ‘90s until today.
A Fragrant Afternoon Tea – Inspired by Jo Malone London

Date: 3rd August
Time: 2 PM – 6 PM
Venue: The Pavilion, The Alnwick Garden
Price: £70 per person
Tickets launching soon! This very special Afternoon Tea and scent experience is set to be a showstopper. In collaboration with Jo Malone London, begin with a glass of Prosecco before discovering your signature scent in a guided fragrance experience with Jo Malone London Stylists. Enjoy an afternoon tea inspired by iconic Jo Malone scents, followed by time to explore the gardens in full summer bloom.
Tickets include a glass of Prosecco, afternoon tea, and £30 redeemable on Jo Malone purchases during the event.
Gay Day 2025
